Free Spring Festival and Lantern Walk at UQ 5 March

Join UQ’s Confucius Institute and UQ Life at Campbell Place on the Tuesday 5 March to help celebrate Chinese New Year at UQ. From 4pm - 8pm Chinese food and markets will be available for you to enjoy as well as traditional Chinese arts and crafts such as lantern making, food demonstrations and more.

As the markets comes to a close, join us for an evening walk across St Lucia campus starting from 7pm. Leaving from Campbell Place, we will be marching in celebration of a beautiful, safe and diverse UQ community with personalised, handmade lanterns that will light up the night.

This event is free and open to all UQ students, staff, friends, family and the local community.
