The University of Queensland’s Confucius Institute, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Movie World and St Stephen’s College in Coomera, have begun 12 weeks of intensive Chinese language and culture training for their employees.

The Confucius Institute at The University of Queensland is proud to present a free public lecture by renowned Hong Kong film critic and Head Programmer of the Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival, Ms Kiki Fung.

The Confucius Institute at The University of Queensland welcomed the establishment of its third Confucius classroom in Queensland at St. Andrews Catholic College, Cairns on the 18th June, 2015.

On November 7th, 2014, the Confucius Institute at The University of Queensland in cooperation with Brisbane-based high school Lourdes Hill College officially opened a Confucius classroom for the promotion of Chinese language and cultural learning. 

Dr Graeme Were and Dr Allison Holland from the School of English, Media Studies and Art History travelled to China recently as part of the UQ-Hanban Visiting Fellowships program run by UQ's Confucius Institute and partner institute, Tianjin University.
